Faith

Well so I created this blog mainly for photography purposes, but I would like to share what God is teaching me lately.

First I just want to praise God for His over abundance love and mercy! He sent His Son to bring justice to reconcile me to Him. Talk about love story! :) He is the true abolitionist, freeing people from their own sin and satan's grip on mankind. Praise God for that!

I have recently met a wonderful new friend and sister in Christ! I have been so encouraged in the short time of knowing her, and she shared with me another girl's blog http://kissesfromkatie.blogspot.com/ If you have time to check this out, please do so! This is another wonderful example of a servant of Christ living for Him. She is 20 and a mother of 13 girls that she adopted while serving some of the poorest in Uganda. I would love to be doing something similar. However, God has called me here to Flint. Of this I am excited and trusting Him. His plan will bring Him most glory and will be most exciting - I know it! Anyways, this girl, Katie, has really encouraged me because she really loves God and therefore others while fully trusting Him. Lord, I just pray that I will also trust You.

Learning to be commited to God

In order to be commited to God, I need to make the decision to be wholly His. The effort, time, and work seems daunting to me, but I want my one desire to be for Him.

Engagement

So I was able to take these pictures for my friends. I am so happy for them. They are so happy together. It was so cute and fun to take their pictures.

I love these pictures of them out in the snow... it was so cold when we took these.

Procrastination

Procrastination is a beautiful thing because I get so much done that really needs not be done. Today I listened to two sermons, painted a house, checked everything online I could...twice. I even cleaned my room.

As a part of Martin Luther King Day, a couple friends and myself vounteered through my school. I love living in the city; there is so much to do to serve my community.

Happy New Year!

So it is officially 2009. I am so excited for what this year will hold. I have been learning so much lately that the future can be nothing more than bright! So far this new year will hold my first engagement photo shoot for one of my close friends who is getting married in April. Congratulations!! ...The possibility of going abroad over the summer... need to get on myself and get a passport. And finally, the start of a healthier me! I am going to actually work out and eat three meals a day and drink eight glasses of water... well at least I am going to try!
